Leng Rong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Pingdu City of Shandong Province. He was born in 1953, started to work in 1969 and joined CPC in 1983. Leng graduated from Department of Philosophy of Beijing University in 1983 with a Bachelor Degree. He is a Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Social Science, Advisor of Ph.D Candidates, and a famous theorist. Leng serves as Standing Vice-President and Deputy Secretary of Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences since 2004, Chairman of Association of China Scientific Socialism since 2008 and Chairman of the CPC Literature Research Association since 2009. He was Delegate of 16th CPC National Congress, Member of 10th NPC Standing Committee, Member of 10th NPC Law Commission. Leng is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In 2018 he became Director of the Party History and Archives Research Institute.
